A 16-year-old girl was injured when an electricity pole collapsed and fell on the ground in Nea Filadelfia suburb of Athens on Wednesday morning.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital. she has been reportedly slightly injured and is in shock. According to latest information by ANT1 TV, the girl has been injured in the back of the head as the pole fell on it and has injuries on the knees due to her fall on the ground.
Crews are currently working to remove the pole from the roadway, causing traffic disruptions in the area.
