Ferries and ships will remain docked at Greek ports for another 48 hours after the Panhellenic Maritime Federation (PNO) decided to escalate its mobilizations and extend the strike that started on October 22, 2024.
On Wednesday, the PNO announced a new 48-hour strike for tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, October 24-25, 2024.
The ships will remain tied up in the ports for the next two days (24-25/10), after the two-day strike that lasted from the 22nd to the 23rd of the month.
The sailors request, among others, the repeal of Law 41/50, immediate amendment of the article on the four-month routing of E.G/O.G, High-Speed Ships, the signing of a collective labor agreement with a 12% increase and the imposition of a seven-month mandatory routing.
