Starting on Friday, November 1, 2024, the Athens Metro Lines 2 and 3 will extend their operation hours until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
According to an announcement from STASY, the organization that manages the metro system of the Greek capital, the last trains will depart from the central Syntagma station at 2 a.m., providing service in all directions.
According to athenstransport.gr, the last trains will depart from the stations:
- D. PLAKENTIAS at 01:38
- DIMOTIKO THEATRO at 01:34
- ANTHOUPOLIS at 01:43
- ELLINIKO at 01:40

It should be stressed that the changes will not apply to urban train ISAP also known as Metro Line 1 on the route Piraeus to Kifissia.
