Greek Police have arrested three men who had turned their criminal drugs trade into a “super market.” They hid the drugs in juice packaging or oil and vinegar bottles and distributed them in Athens.
During a raid on Friday, officers seized 17 kilograms of cannabis, nearly 1.4 kilograms of cocaine, 32 grams of pink cocaine, and €45,800 in cash.
The gang operated in the Glyfada and Vari areas in south-eastern Athens, concealing drugs in paper juice cartons or glass containers for oil or vinegar, depending on the substance.
The suspects also sold ketamine, crystal meth (MDMA), liquid LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cannabis oil and codeine.
Authorities estimate the gang profited €200,000 from its illicit trade.
All three suspects are aged 31 and are offspring of wealthy families. One is the son of a well-known doctor and the other two of successful businessmen, with one of them from a very wealthy family from Egypt, ANT1 TV and other media reported.
