In the face of ongoing animal abuse in Greece, there are also these news stories that honor humans and give hope. A young woman in Evia dived to save a kitten that was struggling to stay afloat in the harbor.
The girl saw the kitten in the sea and without a second thought dived in the water and quickly swam to the kitten in need.
As can be seen in the video posted on TikTok, the girl took off her jacket, gave it to her friends and with her pants and blouse swam to the point where the cat was.
She grabbed the cat by the torso, lifted it high above the sea, and so they got to the shore land.
The rightened kitten was safe.
Of course, it will remain a mystery how the kitten landed in the sea.
