Greece’s Historical Ranking on the Henley Passport Index

The Henley Passport Index is the original, authoritative ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. The index is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) – the largest, most accurate travel information database – and enhanced by Henley & Partners’ research team.
The Henley Passport Index compares the visa-free access of 199 different passports to 227 travel destinations. If no visa is required, then a score with value = 1 is created for that passport. The same applies if you can obtain a visa on arrival (VOA), a visitor’s permit, or an electronic travel authority (ETA) when entering the destination.

The Greek passport is famous amongst travellers for being one of the world’s SAFEST passports to have.
what is a “safe passport”?
It would be interesting to know which 6 countries allow people from Singapore to enter visa free but which don’t accept people from Greece. Are they significant? The raw numbers are so similar that they don’t tell us much. For Singapore it is almost every country recognised by the UN so that represents an effective ceiling.
