Greek athlete Emmanouil Karalis came in second in pole vaulting at the Istvan Gyulai Memorial-Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix in Budapest on Tuesday, having surpassed 6 meters to reach 6.02 m.
It is the 9th time in his career that he has vaulted over 6 m.

Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis came in first with 6.29 m, breaking both the world record in pole vaulting for the 13th time in his career as well as his personal record, at 6.28 m.

At the same games, Olympics Gold and world champion Miltiadis Tentoglou took second place with 8.05 m in long jump, sharing second place with Uzbekistan’s Anvar Anvarov. Germany’s Simon Batz came first with 8.07 m.
