Missing German 16-year-old teenager Laura flew to Frankfurt on the same day she left the family home in Patras and just a few hours after she arrived in Athens on January 8, 2026.
This was revealed today, three weeks later, by Mega TV Live News Magazine and Laura’s ticket to Germany was also confirmed by the owner of a small travel agency in Omonoia square in downtown Athens.
The travel agent said that short before noon on January 8, Laura had purchased a ticket for a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt at 5 o’ clock on the same day.
Footage from the CCTV camera showed the teenager buying the ticket , wearing the same clothes as she did when she got off the taxi in Athens.
Laura was alone and paid for the ticket cash.
It is not clear whether the teenager reached the Athens International Airport with public transport or per taxi.
Mega TV reported further that the Greek Police requested information from airlines on January 12, but have so far received no respond.
Greek Police handling the case are now in consultation and direct cooperation with their colleagues in Germany in order to put an end to the thriller of the 16-year-old’s disappearance.
According to information so far, the teenager left the country on the same day she left her home in Patras and her whereabouts in Germany are not known.
Her parents are hoping for the return of her daughter who had complained to her classmates alleging that she wanted to leave home due to her father’s violent behavior.
The family moved to Rio by Patras three years ago and the missing girl had problems with school as she did not speak the language.
According to Mega TV, there have been 3 to 4 places in Germany where the family has relatives and by whom the girl could have sought refugee. But so far, no relative has informed Laura’s parents about such an option.
Laura L. remains missing on January 30, 2026.
On social media, some Greeks suggest that Laura might have indeed sought refugee by relatives or even help from the German social services due to an incident in the past where she spent one month in a foster home following an incident with her father.
