Full anticipation, dog Irma waited endless hours for her human at the entrance of the the courthouse in Lamia, central Greece.
The little dog spent many hours under the rain looking inside with great anticipation and longing for her human to return.
It seems that a court case had separated human, a homeless man, and doggy for a day, however, for the little four-legged one it seemed like eternity.
The image of the little four-legged friend, anxiously waiting outside the entrance of the Lamia Courthouse for the companion of her life, moved thousands of people and received hundreds of messages full of tenderness and care for the loyal animal, noted local media lamianow.gr.
At the end of the day, dog and human were reunited, the adventure had a happy ending and they both walked away towards the sunset…
PS In contrast: I was recently out for several hours and when I returned home… both cats were sleeping on the couch, one on a cushion, one fully under a blanket. They did not move. The did not open their eyes. I thought they had died.
