As STASY informed on Thursday morning (12/03), by order of the Greek Police, Syntagma Metro station will close at 17:30 and trains will pass through it without stopping.

It is noted that there is a call for an anti-war protest rally at Syntagma Square, which has been addressed by left-wing organizations and collectives due to the war in the Middle East.

A march to the American embassy is scheduled to follow.

Note: it is possible that also more metro stations like <Evaggelismos> and <Megaro Mousikis> will close due to the march to the US Embassy.

The metro stations usually open again when protests are over and police deems the situation as safe.
