U.S. President Donald Trump praised Greece during a meeting with reporters at the White House on Thursday.
In his statement, Trump said “Greece has been very supportive; he is a terrific guy,” obviously meaning Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis probably not able to recall his name at that specific moment.

Trump had responded to a reporter from arch-conservative Breitbart news website, who told the US President that the Greek PM said about him “”he is rooting for him to secure a deal in the Iran war.”
Mitsotakis has been indeed very supportive of the U.S. and Trump’s policies as he has bet to turn Greece into an energy hub with the help of Washington.
He also supports Israel, but that’s another story…
PS Greece and Greeks in general have a tendency to cheer for any kind of praise independently by whom and for what’s the reason.
Approval from the Devil will not be much help for Mitsotakis in the next elections.
