Papandreou in Paris – Gaddafi, Mubarak, Ben Ali at Home

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou will fly to Paris Saturday morning to attend the meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership leaders on the developments in Libya. The initiative for tomorrow’s meeting belongs to the French president Nicolas Sarkozy.  Muammar Gaddafi (Libya), who holds an observer member status, will not attend due to local political ‘issues’.

Due to the emergency of the situation Papandreou has set the meeting of the Socialist International one hour earlier. The SI meeting is taking place at the Acropolis Museum. Ben Ali (Tunesia) and Hosni Mubarak (Egypt) will not attend due to … unexpected obstacles.
