It seems that bad Greek habits , such as non-payment of debts to the state and tax evasion, get adopted also by foreign nationals living in the country where the sun always shine. At least it used to. The two Spanish owners of a company trading and processing iron were arrested in Thessaloniki. The 39-year old woman and her 40-year-old brother were arrested by the Financial Crime units (SDOE) of Greek Financial Ministry for owing the Greek state 240 thousand euro. It looks as if the Spaniards have repeatedly refused to pay their debts.
The two will be brought to prosecutor of Thessaloniki; they will most likely go free on bail just like their Greek colleagues in financial debt crimes.
