Another “crucial” Eurogroup meeting on Greece is taking place Monday afternoon in Brussels, just 24 hours before the deadline for the Greek repayment to International Monetary Fund – full 767 million euro. As Athens desperately seeking for some positive news from its creditors and decision makers, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis and his euro-leading counterpart Wolfgang Schaeuble will hold a face to face conversation before the euro-men in black take their seats in the meeting hall.
Arriving at the Eurogroup building, Yanis Varoufakis told reporters that:
“Our Red Lines and theirs are such so that a common ground can be found
Earlier, in an interview to Sto Kokkino, a radio station affiliated with Syriza, Varoufakis had said:
“Greece won`t sign any deal that lacks prospect of exit from the crisis.Any deal should tackle the major issues of the Greek debt, unemployment and the recession whilst sounding cautious that there would be an immediate easing of the economic “asphyxiation” imposed on Greece.” (see more at Sto Kokkino.gr)
