Slovakia’s PM Fico in Delirium: “There will be one single hot spot called Greece”

Slovak prime minister Robert Fico suffered a delirium attack and claimed “there will be a single hot spot and its name will be Greece.” Threatened by his opponents ahead of the upcoming elections on Sunday, the Slovak official accused  Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for having “brought the crisis upon himself for failing to set up EU-mandated processing centers.”

“We have come to the time when Greece is likely to be sacrificed for the good of the EU,” Robert Fico said.

In an interview to slovak newspaper Hospordaske Noviny

“Tsipras, if you do not do what you can then there is only a huge hotspot and is called Greece. And it will be your responsibility because you did absolutely nothing to the Turkish border,” said Fico who has probably seen “the sea” never in his live.

The bully-looking and -behaving ex communist and loyal servant of German CDU although leader of a so-called “slovak social-democrat party” said also “Greece survived the economic crisis but it may breaks its neck on the Refugee Crisis.”

Fico struggles to keep his coalition government alive also after the elections on Sunday. Anti-Greek and anti-refugee sentiment is reportedly top on the agenda of the elections, independent of political parties and ideologies.

Pathetic.

Too bad some people still remember the famous Gorilla-Scandal and the protests where Slovaks were throwing bananas at the Parliament. That was in 2012.

PS in fact, I almost pity the Slovak people when these politicians of theirs distract their attention away from the real problems of the country.

  1. These ignorant Nazis need to be kicked out of the European Union: they are damaging it as badly as Hitler would. if Merkel cannot see this, then she needs to retire.

    • PS: don’t feel sorry for the Slovaks. On other international websites, I see their vicious nazi and anti-greek mentality every day. They are nothing but scum: it was a serious mistake to invite all of the CEE countries into the EU, but Slovakia and Hungary seem to be especially nasty.

      • Dont be generalizing out of anger. you know as well as most of us how this division in “the slovaks”, “the greeks”, “the germans”… isnt helpful. Plus there is only so much blame you can lay at a population for the shit their politicians say.
But most importantly with a statement like this you give up the logical superiority as well as the moral high ground of your arguments against someone who tells me we shouldnt have let in “the refugees”, because theire all thieves and rapists.

      • Now the weapons industry goes like “Surrounded by creepy big mouthed idiots you can be lucky to have so many tanks!”

    • Since you like black humor let me inform you that during my studying phase some fellow physicists and i concluded that since all evilness in this world is measured against hitler, it should be the standard unit of evilness.

      “…as badly as… ”

As such someone like Fico would only be somewhere in the microhitler range, even an assad or baghdadi only qualifies for a few millihitler and an average person like gigi or me;-) carries maybe a few picohitler but not more.

  2. 🙂 P.S. Censor, you shouldnt allow this comment, the “smile” might threaten Greece itself very seriously…

  3. Elections are void, nobody votes in Slovakia anyway but drinks are welcome, so produce Raki, name it “Fico’s Hotspot” and hit Slovakia – Yamas!

    • But have cars, blood-phones and all the other crappy bullshit the death-machine world-trade holds for you, imperialistic lackeys in compliance with the capitalist war-mongers and every time the IS is chopping off some heads you scream bravo because the fuel-price declines.
If you don’t conform with human values and UN-refugees conventions then go leave Europe, go back there you come from.

    • Let me ask you then, honestly not rhetorically, how you think about the migration of slovakians into western europe?
I get that eastern eu countries dont have a lot experience with migration, wahtever the cause, but everyone not wanting to take in people fleeing poison gas and starvation should be reminded how much those countries populations profited by the west opening their borders. And those millions of poles ,hungarians slovakians etc. were not fleeing such dire situations, they were classical economic refugees.
The same people in ger who are now protesting against refugees, wouldve told any countrymen of yours to piss of and stay in your country because they “knew” that you are ale sleazy thiefs and liars.

And on top of it the people who are now responsible for teargassing children then turn around and tell me how their morality is superior because of their “christian values”.
Only so much hypocracy i can stomach.

    • Karol-

Then that’s what Fico should say. While he may claim the unilateral authority to bar refugees (i.e. exert his country’s sovereignty), saying that Greece should bear the sole responsibility for the refugees he does not wish to admit is a blatant refutation of Greece’s sovereignty.

But, off again, on again sovereignty is a common problem in the EU. For good stuff, every country is happy to allow the EU to overlook sovereignty. For not so good stuff, sovereignty is inviolate.

Fico is not the only leader to take this approach. Frau Merkel effectively ignored the sovereignty of every nation between the Aegean Sea and Germany when she decided to suspend her country’s adherence to the Dublin Protocols and invited the refugees to come straight to Germany and be processed there. She basically told the nations whose sovereign territory the refugees would have to cross to permit same, as well as gave the refugees permission to do so. She simply and unilaterally suspended her country’s adherence to the Dublin Protocols and expected all other nations impacted to obey her diktat. Meanwhile, the structures and so called leaders of the EU allowed themselves, as usual, to be overcome by events.

Whether or not Slovakia wishes to have refugees settle within their borders, Frau Merkel still announced that they could transit your territory enroute to Germany, but with no mechanisms to ensure that they would continue to Germany, or that such transit would not be an undue burden on Slovakia or any other country of transit. That was not just stupid, but unconscionable. But equally unconscionable is Fico’s unilateral decision that Greece should be the sole “hotspot”.

    • We don’t want to have Slovakia in the European Union either, but it is a fact of life. Just deal with it, instead of complaining that you don’t want to obey European and international law.
