Workers at TRAINOSE will launch a strike over the Easter weekend thus disrupting holiday travelers. The Strike will start at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 30th 2016, and will end at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2nd 2016. Neither the trains nor the Proastiakos will be in operation.
As the Metro Line from <Doukissis Plakentias> station to/from the Athens airport Eleftherios Venizelos belongs to Proastiakos, I suppose that there will also be problems to reach the airport per Metro on these strike days. Better check in advance.
With the strike, workers want to protest the privatization of TRAINOSE.
