Rainstorms, locally thunderstorms, strong North winds with intensity of up to 8 Beaufort and further temperature decrease are the features of weather in Greece for the coming days. According to some meteorologists, snow is also expected in the mountainous areas above, 1,900 meters.
Local rainfalls and storms are expected, increase of north winds and temperatures will not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.

The bad weather front that already started beginning of the week with heavy storms on the islands of Samothraki and Thassos as well as in Thessaloniki, is expected to continue also on Thursday and remain in the country over the upcoming weekend.
The rain- and thunderstorms will affect the largest part of the country with exception of the islands of the eastern Aegean Sea, the Dodecanse and maybe the east of the Cyclades.

Meteorologist Kallianos forecast snow on mountains above 1,900 meters mainly in Central Greece on Saturday and Sunday.
