Fofi Gennimata wins leadership elections in PASOK

The old leader of PASOK, Fofi Gennimata, has been elected to be the new leader of PASOK. In the second round of elections on Sunday, Genimmata received 56% of the votes, while her challenger Androulakis gathered 44% .

The voters’ turnover  reached 160,000.

Genimmata’s goal to call for leadership election was to confirm her power and (re?) – establish PASOK’s power in the center-left of Greece’s political landscape.
