Conservative Nea Dimocratia leads again in a public opinion poll conducted published three days before the polls ban that will be imposed on Sunday. According to the opinion poll conducted May 27-30, 2012 among 1,000 people by ALCO for news portal NEWSIT:
ΝD: 25%
SYRIZA: 22,7%

48% of the respondent said that “denouncing the Memorandum would mean euro exit”.
49% said they want to strengthen the parties that want denouncement of the MoU
That mean thattmany citizens want renegotiation of the bailout programme without a catastrophic impact for the country.
To the question ” Who can better renegotiate the MoU” 21% said Samaras and 21% said Tsipras. 30% said “Nobody”.
To the question “Who do you trust more to govern” 38% said Samaras, 29% said Tripras, 30% said “Nobody”.
The scaremongering may have an effect on the voters.
But Greek voters have to remember that after the Memorandum takes effect and the new cuts bite the economy, the unemployment will rise even more. It rose from 9% to 22% in just about a year. Nothing will be able to stop the unemployment from rising to 30-35% in Greece, especially after the privatizations and the public sector lay offs.
Armaggedon is now.
Greek voters think Samaras will save them. As Papandreou with “There is money” in 2009.
