San Marino nationals try to smuggle to Greece spray causing paralysis

Greek custom authorities arrested two nationals of San Marino for trying to smuggle 147 cans containing spray causing paralysis.

The two men aged 22 and 25 years old were arrested at Kipoi crossing at the borders with Turkey. They reportedly tried to smuggle the bottles into Greece. The final destination of the two has not made public. Neither an exact description of the finding.

They had hidden the 147 bottles in their vehicle, however police checking the car found the unusual load and seized it.

The two men were arrested, while charges against them for violating the Weapons Act had been filed.

The prosecutor of Alexandroupolis is dealing with the case.

San Marino is a mountainous microstate by north-central Italy. It is the third smallest state in  Europe after the Holy See City and Monaco.
