A hot week with mini heat waves here and there, however, not on consecutive days lay ahead. The first mini heat wave of the week is expected to strike several regions of Greece on Tuesday, July 17th 2018. Meteorologists forecast that in the regions affected temperatures will climb up to 40 degrees Celsius in the shade.
Regions affected are mainly Attica, Euboea, Central Greece, West and South Peloponnese (Nafplio, Lakonia).

While some regions will be boiling under the hot sun, rainfalls and locally rainstorms are expected in mainland North (Epirus, Macedonia, Thrace) and Northern Aegean Sea.
