Winter Sales in Greece have started today, Monday, January 14th and will run until Thursday, February 28th 2019.
Retailers’ association clarified that, during the sales period, the price before and after the discount must be clearly displayed upon the items on sale, while retailers can also indicate the percentage discount.
Additionally, the stores can open on January 20, the first Sunday of the sales period, with the recommended working hours 11:00 to 18:00.
On Monday, January 21, the association proposes that shops open at noon instead of 09:00 since customer turnout on the Mondays after Sunday opening has been observed to be virtually nil. (amna)
