Three children and one adult have been missing after a migrants boat capsized in Evros River, the natural border between Greece and Turkey. Eight people have been rescued.
The inflatable boat was carrying twelve people who were trying to enter Greece illegally early Saturday morning.
The boat reportedly busted and the passengers fell into the cold river waters. Eight of them managed to reach a river islet on the Greek side. they informed authorities and were rescued by Greek police.
A Search and Rescue operation was launched and is still underway Saturday afternoon. However, the possibilities that the missing are alive are slim, local media report.
