It was a short sunny break on Thursday but rain returned on Friday in the largest parts of the country. Atmospheric disturbances will affect the weather that will remain unstable until next Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Main features of the unstable weather are rainfalls and thunderstorms, mud rain due because of Sahara dust and south winds up to 8 Beaufort.
Affected are mainly the regions: North Epirus, Sterea, Thessaly, Central and north Aegean Sea, Halkidiki, East Macedonia, Thrace, North Ionian Sea and mountainous areas in Peloponnese.
The highest precipitation is expected in Epirus, Western Sterea, Macedonia and Thrace.
Locally the phenomena are expected to be strong and in some cases will be accompanied with hailstorms and powerful wind gusts.
Thunderstorms are expected both in mainland and islands regions.

Due to high concentration of Sahara Dust, mud rain is expected on Crete and other regions, Friday and Saturday, April 12-13.

The good thing is the temperature is mild, reaching up to 16 degrees Celsius in the North, 19°-20° C in Athens and up to 23°-25° C on Crete.
