The Union of Athens metro workers decided to suspend the work stoppages it had announced last week. The work stoppages were scheduled for Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2019.
The work stoppages are scheduled to take place as follows:
Nov 28: from begin of morning shift until 9:00 am and from 9:00 pm until end of shift.
Nov 29: 12 o’ clock noon until 4:00 pm
In a statement, the workers blame the managing company for their strike saying that for the last two months they have not been paid according to the Collective Agreement signed by the Transport Ministry leadership of the previous and the current government.
