Police has arrested a priest for having arson carnival constructions in the city of Patras which is famous for its Carnival events.
According to local media tempo24.gr, the priest is believed to have set on fire four carnival items on Monday and a fifth one on Tuesday night, when he was also arrested.
He was put in handcuffs short after 11 pm by policemen on motorcycles.
The 40-year-old priest is working in the town of Aigio and resides in Patras.
The priest reportedly admitted the arson, telling the prosecutor that he does not like the carnival.
