Greece’s Civil Protection has launched a coronavirus information campaign for tourists arriving in Greece as of July 1, 2020, when the country opens all its regional airports, border-crossings and ports.
The campaign message “Enjoy your Stay – Stay Safe” contains nine directives regarding necessary protection measures during the pandemic.
According to the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the purpose of the information campaign is to provide dependable information, so that the opening of Greek tourism is done on safe terms for all visitors and residents in Greece. The guidelines are fully in line with health ministry and World Health Organization guidelines and in cooperation with Fraport and the Athens inertnationla airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”.

Clear instructions will be posted at all gateways, that is all 27 airports, seven land entry points and seven ports entrances into the country, while printed information material will also be distributed.
The information campaign will be available to the public in three languages, English, French and German.
