US President Donald Trump held a second telephone call with Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday following a first round of contacts with the Greek premier and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Trump reportedly assured the Greek leader that Washington has expressed its discontent to Ankara over ongoing activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The American president told Mitsotakis that his aim was to de-escalate tensions in the region.

The White House said that Trump also spoke with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about Turkey’s maritime dispute with Greece. As in his call earlier with Greek PM Mitsotakis, Pres urged Erdogan to “commit to dialogue” to resolve the dispute.

Trump gave a call to Greek PM over an encrypted line, the device was bearing a mark “property of the US government Greek media reported.
Such devices are reportedly used when the US President speaks with foreign leaders.

Marvelous what all is possible within a very shaky election campaign…. and not to forget Trump‘s closed followers interest to supply liquid natural gas to Europe as well….
