Greece is proceeding with the vaccination of people with underlying health issues as well as with the inoculation of other age categories. Health authorities said on Tuesday that the platforms to book vaccination appointment will start opening on upcoming Friday, March 19. 2021.
By the end of the month, citizens will have the possibility to book an appointment at a hospital if they are subject to allergic reactions.
Platform opening:
People with underlying health issues: March 19 at 6 p.m.
Age group 70-74: March 26
Age group: 65-69: beginning of April

According to the schedule, the first group (category A) includes 10 health issues like cancer patients in therapy, patients with transplants, kidney failure, cystic fibrosis, chronic respiratory diseases, heart and liver and patients in immune-suppression.

General Secretary for Primary Health Care Marios Themistokleous has clarified that:
– if the diagnosis is recent, the doctor in charge will have to register it in the system of electronic prescription. The vaccination system checks these data on weekly basis, so that the beneficiary can be recognized and a booking for vaccination appointment is possible.
– if one suffers from diseases in Category A but is outside the e-prescription system – example if diagnosis and therapy were carried out outiside Greece- the doctor in charge will have to apply for the specific patient in emvolio.gov.gr
People with allergies
Themistokleous announced that there will be a better dealing for people with allergy history. By end of March, the doctor in charge for vaccination will automatically book an appointment at a hospital.

Lee,I just looked around on line for an answer for you and someone said that they were issued an immediate automated reply by way of saying..yes we recieved your request on emvolio.gov.gr and then one month later they were told to contact,phone or make an appointment to speak with their nearest KEP office who would give them the number so as to then book the appointment for the jab,but they were told by KEP that they needed some official translations done of marraige certificate.This person applied back in Feb somehow so maybe it wont mean waiting the one month.if I were you I would arrange to speak with your KEP office soon as you can.
