Authorities at the Athens international airport arrested nine Syrian nationals with forged travel documents. The group dressed in sports outfit was posing as a volleyball team.
According to police, the nine young men had fake identity cards of a foreign country.
They wore matching sports uniforms, to look like a volleyball team.
During police checks it was revealed that they do not belong to any team and that their aim was to illegally depart from Greece for Vienna, Austria.
The nine men were arrested on Sunday and were led before an Athens prosecutor.
It is the second time since the Migration issue arose that a group of young men tried to illegally leave the country pretending to be a sports team.
