Greek Coast Guard divers locate cocaine in hull of foreign freighter (video)

The Greek Coast Guard located and seized 46.71 kg of cocaine in a freighter anchored near Corinth and arrested 23 foreign nationals, all crew members, late on Monday.

The ship had set sail from a Brazilian port and was going to dock at a coastal facility in the area of Kalamaki, near the Corinth Canal.

The Marshall Islands-flagged ship ‘SKYROS’ had anchored in the sea near Isthmia, where an inspection of the vessel’s hull was carried out by a team of Coast Guard divers.

During the inspection they found a bag containing 46.71 kg of cocaine, in 38 plastic packages.
