The first cruise ship to visit Greece after the reopening of the country to tourism, Mein Schiff 5, arrived at the port of Piraeus on Tuesday, carrying nearly 1,000 passengers.
The Piraeus Port Authority has provided three halls in the cruise ship terminal for use by the health authorities, as part of the continuing precautions for the coronavirus pandemic.
Nearly 450 ships are expected to arrive at Piraeus during the summer season. Of these, 250 will be using Piraeus as their home port.
