Gyms will reopen on Monday (May 31) head of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias announced on Friday. However, it has been clarified that people could be allowed to not wear masks during certain exercise.
As in schools, gyms users will have to present a negative self-diagnostic test and wear a double face mask.
On Saturday, the Development Ministry clarified regarding the wearing of masks during specific exercises:
– Anybody doing aerobics exercises does not have to wear a mask as long as they are 3m apart from other people exercising with them
– People with serious respiratory issues should avoid aerobics exercises wearing a mask
– People exercising may wear either two plain masks together or a single mask of the KN95 or FFP2 types
The head of Civil Protection announced that 5×5 courts and open-air basketball courts will also reopen on Monday for exclusive use by amateur athletes. Their health protocols will be the same as those for professional athletes, however.
Teleworking in public and private sector will be reduced to 25% from currently 50%.

Masking when exercising is very dangerous. It’s been a very long time since the scientist proved that oxygen is very important to humans. I thought everyone knows this by now

These people are clowns of the first order. Just like no singing for fear of catching this virus. Also you can walk to your table wearing a mask but once you sit you are fine. Fools.
