Greece’s National Meteorological Service EMY issued a warning on weather deterioration with locally heavy thunderstorms, powerful winds and possible hail-falls.
The weather phenomena are forecast as of the early morning hours of Saturday, August 21, 2021.
The will affect western and central Macedonia and gradually Thessaly, central Greece.
From Saturday noon, they intense phenomena will affect mainly Epirus, western and central Sterea and Peloponnese, mainly in the mountainous areas.
EMY forecast the gradual weather improvement late in the afternoon.
