Greece’s health authorities announced on Sunday 1,305 new coronavirus cases and 33 Covid-related deaths in the past 24 hours. The number of intubated Covid-patients in ICUs stands at 348.

Since the start of the pandemic in the country, Greece has recorded a total of 630,784 cases (daily change 0.2%), of which 51% are men.
Of the confirmed cases in the last seven days, 143 are linked to travel abroad and 3,111 to already known cases.
33 deaths in past 24 hours have brought the total number of fatalities to 14,466 since the start of the pandemic. 95.4% of them had either an underlying health condition or were above 70 years old.
The number of Covid-19 patients in hospital ICUs stands at 348, with 63.8% of them being men. Their median age was 64 years old and 80.2% had either an underlying condition or were aged over 70.
Of the Covid-patients in ICUs, 318 (91.38%) were unvacinnated or partial vaccinated and 30 (8.62%) were fully vaccinated.
Since the start of the pandemic, 3,087 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals was 192 (daily change 0.52%) while the rolling average for the past seven days was 198 patients per day.
The median age of cases was 39 years old, while the median age of those dying of Covid-19 was 78 years old.
