Greece registered its highest number of daily Covid-related deaths in 2021 on Monday when 105 patients died in the past 24 hours. Health authorities announced also 7,287 new coronavirus cases. The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospitals increased further to 608.
A total of 1,480 Covid-patients have died within the month of November, from 1 to 22.
As the fourth pandemic wave is sweeping across the country and health authorities urge citizens to get the jab and proceed with the booster shot, the new restrictions for the unvaccinated went into force since Monday morning.

105 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, brought the total of pandemic victims to 17.425*.. Of these, 95.4% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.

608 Covid-patients are on ventilators in hospitals from 590 a day earlier.. Their median age is 65 years, 60% are men. 81.7% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total patients on intubation, 503 (82.73%) are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 105 (17.27%) are fully vaccinated.

3,466 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
391 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospitals in the last 24 hours (daily change: +1.56%). The average admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 437.
The median age of new infections is 38 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 78 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
