Considering these figures I just cant understand WHY some people dont get their jabs! Conspiracy theories and lies wont keep you alive when the virus get to you, will they???
Thank you, KTG, once again for your hard work with the statistics! As I said before, unvaluable from abroad!
I think the problem why people do not want to get vaccinated is because so many Greeks are so-called macho and others are fearful of the church. God hasn’t done much for saving people such as priests! Get vaccinated and try to get back to some sort of normalcy.
The same in Serbia. People are dying left and right or are getting seriously sick. And mostly it involves the unvaccinated. Serbia was actually doing quite well with vaccinations, better than some other countries in Europe. In the beginning at least. And they were boasting about it, rightfully so. But then stagnation set in and the anti-vaxxers started spewing their poison, often supported by “doctors” and the yellow press which alas we have a lot of. Same as in Greece I suppose.
And now we have double digits daily death rates and hundreds of new infections every day, if not thousands. I lost a friend that way.
Get vaccinated. It is no guarantee that you won’t get it but it increases your survival rate. I had Covid while waiting to be called for vaccination and while I had a moderate case, you don’t want to get this. I was lucky but I was also on time with treatment.
