Passengers screamed, luggage fell in the water: Disembarking by 9 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea (video)

Passengers on “Skopelitis Express” were highly distressed having to disembark at the tiny pier-port of Schoinousa in the central Aegean Sea, while winds were blowing with intensity of 9 Beaufort.

Footage shows the ship bobbing up and down, left and right like a dinghy in rough open sea.

Passengers jump out of the ship, screams are head and some luggage falls in the water. The hatch knocks uncontrollably on the small pier.

When the captain realized that the whole procedure was endangering lives, he ordered the undocking and sailed away with cars and passengers who didn’t manage to reach their destination.

Skopelitis Express had left the port of Naxos for Schoinousa and other small islands of the Cyclades in the central Aegean Sea.

The “horror” trip took place on November 26, local news website Cyclades24, that also uploaded the exclusive video, reported.

Cyclades24 notes that “Skopelitis Express” is the most loyal soldier” of the so-called “barren line” of the Small Cyclades, a little hero, who from time to time is recruited to make trips to save human lives.
