Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday 24,308 coronavirus cases and 103 deaths in past 24 hours, To Tuesday’s data another 5 deaths from previous days were incorporate, bringing today’s number to 108.. The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospitals decreased to 563.
The number of daily deaths continues to be extraordinarily high.

108 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, brought the the total of pandemic victims to 23,608*. Of these, 95.1% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.

563 Covid-patients from 576 a day earlier are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 66 years, 60.7% are men and 83.8% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in intubation, 444 (78.86%) are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 119 (21.14%) are fully vaccinated.
4,048 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
454 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: +14.07%), while the daily average of admissions over the last 7 days was 436.
The median age of new infections is 35 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 78 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
