Ships and ferries docked in Piraeus, Rafina & Lavrio due to gale force winds

Ships and ferries in the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrion bound for islands in the Cyclades, in the Dodecanese and the island of Crete remained docked on Thursday due to high winds registering up to 9 on the Beaufort scale.

Sailings in the Argosaronic Gulf – Angistri, Egina, Hydra, Poros, Salamina, and Spetses – are allowed for closed-type boats only.

Passengers are advised to contact local port authorities or their travel agents before setting off.
