August says “Goodbye” with rainfalls and thunderstorms in several parts of Greece, including Attica, the islands and Crete. The unstable weather will continue until Friday, September 2, 2022, state broadcaster ERT reported.
According to latest forecast data by the meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens, rains and rhunderstorms are expected mainly in the mountainous mainland but also locally in the lowlands of Crete, the islands of the Eastern Aegean Sea and possibly the Ionian islands and the Cyclades.
On the mountains of Pindos and in the northern mainland there is a possibility of hailstorms.

The prefecture of Attica is included among the areas where rains and storms will occur. According to the available forecast data, the phenomena will occur mainly in the midday and afternoon hours and in the mountainous parts of the prefecture they may be strong in places.
