Greece to return €300-fines to unvaccinated citizens over 60, if…

Greece’s health minister Thanos Plevris announced on Friday that the 300-euros fines to unvaccinated citizens over 60 years old will be cancelled if they vaccinated against Covid-19 later.

Speaking to ANT1 TV, Plevris said that “those 300,000 citizens, who paid the fine and were vaccinated later, the money will be returned to them.

He noted that there will be relevant announcements within the next week.

At the peak of the coronavirus in winter, the health ministry imposed a fine of 100 euros per month to each citizen over 60 who had not be administered any basic vaccination against Covid-19.

The fine was imposed from the second half of January -50 euros- , the whole February and March -200 euros -and the first half of April – 50 euros.

The ministry scrapped the fines since April 16, 2022 and it seems that it will not impose them again.

However, those over 60 who remain unvaccinated will apparently have the 300-euro fine booked on the tax office account. The ministry had even threatened to seize assets should the fine not be paid.

Plevris stressed that “vaccination of people over 60 years old in Greece is at 80%” and that “there is interest in updated vaccines.”

Regarding the return of unvaccinated health workers to their work posts, the minister said that there is consideration that they return, once health authorities review the epidemiological data in the next weeks.

“Unvaccinated health workers have no place in the health system, because they do not believe in science,” Plevris noted, though.

He added that there are currently 2,100 unvaccinated health workers of which 200 are doctors. The rest are mainly administrative and support staff.

Over 7,000 health workers across the country were suspended without pay last September for being unvaccinated. In the course of the time, thousands of them apparently got the shot and returned to their work.

The absence of 7,000 people from public health facilities created pressure in the health system causing trouble and big delays to patients.

That statement is unadulterated bulls*** isn’t it.

KTG – are these people up to date with the verifiable data showing the world-wide extent of death and damage the “vaccine” has done? If they are not, then they should be and if they are, then they have no right to continue pushing the “vaccine”.

    • Plevris is I believe a lawyer, he has no idea what science is. Big pharma is now running so scared that their vaccine scam is all going to come out into the open that the Pfizer CEO is now refusing to testify to the EU Parliament Covid panel, presumably because he does know exactly what the science really says.

  2. Are the government politicians that have profited from the persecution of the elderly going to return the money?

Perhaps they realize that their new energy schemes will kill off the elderly instead, so they will receive nothing

  3. What kind of twisted blackmail is this ? Apparently the government thinks that the public does not have a brain between them to work out what’s really happening here.

  4. Travellers also ?
