Tentoglou to auction his “Inappropriate shoes” for the earthquake-hit children in Turkey & Syria

Greece’s long jumper and Olympic gold medalist Miltos Tentoglou will auction his “inappropriate shoes” that had cancelled his 8.40m long jump. The money from the auction will be donated for the children victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

The auction was proposed by his trainer Giorgos Pomaski and Tenoglou immediately agreed with this action of solidarity with the earthquake victims.

It was just beginning of the week that the 8.40m long jump was cancelled by the World Athletics indoor Tour in France, under the pretext that he was wearing “inappropriate shoes.”

Miltos Tentoglou responded to the ridiculous cancellation with a stunning 8.41m long jump, the best in 2023, so far.
