Workers at buses and trolley buses in Athens will launch one more work stoppage on Holy Tuesday, April 11, 2023 demanding safe public transport.
The work stoppage on buses and trolleys will be in two phases: from start of morning shift until 8:30 a.m. and from 10:00 p.m. until the end of the night shift.
The OASA Workers’ Union and the ILPAP Workers’ Union request that the commitments of the administration and the government regarding the legislative regulations towards the workers be respected.
At the same time, they demand safe, modern and quality transport, with respect for human life.
Bus and trolley bus workers launched five work stoppages last week with the same requests and demands.
However, the government is now busy with preparing the ground for another victory of conservative Mitsotakis government.
