Two drunk tourists on the flight from Manchester to Heraklio, Crete, created chaos a late afternoon Thursday. They attacked a passenger and bit a police officer. One of the women had a baby in her arms.
According to local media website cretapost.gr, everything happened late afternoon Thursday on the Manchester – Heraklio flight. Protagonists were a 55-year-old Irish woman and her 24-year-old daughter who was traveling with her 1.5-year-old baby in her arms.
The two women were drunk and during the whole flight they cursed and spat at the crew, they caused huge problems and at one point one of them hit a passenger.
The pilot informed the airport of Heraklio about the situation and the airport police was mobilized.
As soon as the plane landed at “Nikos Kazantzakis” airport and the two women with the baby disembarked, the 24-year-old with the baby in her arms ran down the runaway as soon as she saw the police officers.
As soon as the policeman stopped her, she bit him!
Finally, both were arrested and taken to the police station.
A case file was filed against them for bodily harm, for obstructing traffic. In addition, the 24-year-old mother also charged with exposing a minor to danger.
