A bus carrying tourists, including eight Greeks, collided with a truck and went off the road on Tuesday in Bulgaria.
A total of 10 people were transferred to the hospital, including eight Greeks and two Romanians. Ten people were slightly injured in the accident, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.
The Greeks who were on the bus were taken to the Kaneff University Hospital in Ruse and after a while seven of them were discharged. One of the passengers remained in hospital, and underwent a surgery for an injury in the head, media reported. The woman remains in ICU for precautionary reasons.
Speaking to Mega TV and still in shock on Wednesday, passengers said that the Turkish bus driver was not driving on high speed and they had no idea what had happened.
Speaking to Bulgarian bTV, another passenger said, there was another small accident a day earlier, while the group was traveling with a Greek driver. Next day, the company replaced the bus and with a Turkish driver.
The passengers reportedly managed to get off the bus through the broken glass windows of the left side .
Alcohol tests preformed to bus driver and the truck driver turned out negative.
Bulgarian authorities continue investigation on the causes of the accident that remain unknown, so far.

These “unexplained” events are happening regularly and all over (at least) Europe.
