An earthquake rattled with 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale the island of Rhodes in the eastern Aegean early Friday morning.
The tremor occurred at 6.27 a.m. in the sea area 16 km northeast of the city of Rhodes. Its focal depth was 45.8 km.
No injuries or damages were reported.
Head of the Greek Earthquake Planning and Prevention organization Efthimios Lekkas told media, that this was most likely a main earthquake.
