Trolley passengers, policemen, bystanders and even cyclists are being recorded as they push with bare hands the long vehicle off the middle of the road on Syggrou Avenue in downtown Athens on Sunday.
The video posted on social media went viral and thus with the caption:”When the trolley breaks down and the cyclists’ race will pass through in 5 minutes” and the comment “One more day I feel nationally proud.”

The joint action in fact opened the way for cyclists participating in the world International Tour of Hellas 2024 to continue the race without unexpected obstacles.
The trolley broke down in the upper Syggrou Avenue exactly in the area where the race cyclists would pass through.
It is not clear who exactly called for the joint action, however, the result was impressive.
