Greece will set clocks one hour forward in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 30, 2025, as the daylight saving time begins.
Clocks will advance by one hour, moving from 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., signaling the transition from winter time to summer time.
Daylight saving time starts in the last Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October since 1996.
In 2019, the European parliament voted to scrap the twice-a-year custom of changing the clocks by an hour in spring and autumn by 2021, leaving national governments to decide whether to follow through.
However, the project was dropped as national governments decided in a way that would have created a big confusion in the different time zones.
PS Finally, longer days
