They were filming a porn movie in Platamonas and the two African protagonists were arrested for being street vendors.
The film shooting had concluded in a remote beach , the crew was packing the stuff and the two actors were dressed and were holding some items in their hands, a police patrolling in the area considered them to be illegal products for sale – without documents.
The actors were arrested for being illegal street vendors and taken to the local police station.
As they did not speak Greek the owner of the production company was called in who cleared the issue as “a misunderstanding” and the two were released without any charges.
Speaking to newsit.gr, the company owner said “the two protagonists were using key chains and towels with the company logos. A few hours later, as the filming was complete, the camera crew was leaving to pack up their equipment. Police officers passed by the scene, saw the actors with the items and mistook them for street vendors.”
The third person playing in the porn film, a Bulgarian actress, had obviously left the scene right after the shooting was concluded.
